Casa Museo will celebrate its anniversary opening its doors for free
“Museums and Cultural Landscapes” is the topic for the International Museum Day organized by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) that will take place this year on May 18. As in previous year, Casa Museo Eduardo Frei Montalva will be part of this event that welcomes the community with free admission to the museum.
Due to the water shut-off in Santiago of last weekend, Casa Museo reschedules the Cinema Season and now has new dates. The movie “Adiós a los niños” will be show on Sunday, May 8 at 16:00 hours. Free admission. The audiovisual room has heating system.

Casa Museo Eduardo Frei Montalva has a collection of more than 370 heritage and historic objects, such as the ex-President’s private library, clothes from the 60’s, the original furniture and some testimonies through which the public and private life of a protagonist of the Chilean history may be known.
