In the opening ceremony, with the participation of Claudia\u00a0Engeler, school principal, and\u00a0Maite\u00a0Gallego, deputy director of EFM House Museum, was highlighted the possibility of\u00a0having a cultural space\u00a0available\u00a0 for the students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thus, until August 27<sup>th<\/sup> 2015, the community of this educational establishment will be able to approach differently to the milestones of the 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0century through the timeline\u00a0created by the EFM House Museum, where they can visualize the <strong>main milestones<\/strong> of the history of Chile\u00a0in the 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0century, the world and Frei\u00a0Montalva\u2019s life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A century that, among other things, was characterized by\u00a0a series of migratory movements due to economic crisis, wars or the search for new horizons, as was the case Eduardo Frei\u00a0Montalva\u2019 father, Eduard Frey\u00a0Schlinz.\u00a0He was a\u00a0Swiss Lutheran\u00a0protestant\u00a0who was born in the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1885 and stayed in Chile\u00a0forever\u00a0after marrying Victoria\u00a0Montalva\u00a0with whom he had three children.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_10632\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.casamuseoeduardofrei.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/colegiosuizo02.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-4\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10632\" class=\"wp-image-10632 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.casamuseoeduardofrei.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/colegiosuizo02-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\u201cLandscapes and Characters\u201d including reproductions of some of the painting collection of EFM House Museum\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.casamuseoeduardofrei.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/colegiosuizo02.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.casamuseoeduardofrei.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/colegiosuizo02-250x188.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-10632\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u201cLandscapes and Characters\u201d including reproductions of some of the painting collection of EFM House Museum<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Furthermore, this demonstration\u00a0\u00a0is complementary with the exhibition <strong>\u201cLandscapes and Characters: paintings of Eduardo Frei\u00a0Montalva\u00a0House Museum\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 including reproductions of some works that belong to the private collection of the ex-president, with authors like Ernesto\u00a0Charton\u00a0de\u00a0Treville, Juan Francisco\u00a0Gonz\u00e1les, Arturo Gordon,\u00a0Ra\u00fal\u00a0Monteola, Alberto\u00a0Orrego\u00a0Luco, Antonio Smith, Alberto Valenzuela Llanos\u00a0and Oswaldo\u00a0Guayasam\u00edn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is worth mentioning that all the original art is exhibited permanently in Eduardo Frei\u00a0Montalva\u00a0House Museum,\u00a0residence where the ex-president lived with his family for more than 40 years. The house is located at Hindenburg 683, borough of Providencia, Santiago.
